Objectives
The purpose of this seminar in English is to welcome international PhD students arriving in France for their first doctoral year and to facilitate their integration by:
- giving them to opportunity to start building a network that will continue to develop as they work on their thesis
- providing them with all the practical, logistic and legal information they need to quickly and easily integrate
- offering to teach them about the general culture of the country and the region
- giving them information about preparing a PhD in France
- organizing activities to facilitate their social integration (cultural visits, alumni testimonials).

The seminar welcomes 1st year PhD students who:

registered in their 1st doctoral year in a doctoral school of the Nord – Pas-de-Calais
-
were not living in Lille during the year prior to their registration for the seminar
Participate
To participate in the seminar, you must:
1. subscribe online
2. Complete and have the application form signed
3. Make a poster (max. 5 min presentation per person + 3 min questions, in which you introduce yourself, as well as your research topic)

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
- 1. Complete the application file online
- 2. Complete the following application form signed by your thesis supervisor and Doctoral School director, and send it to sec-dai@cue-lnf.fr before 12th November 2019 2pm
- Make the poster (download the instructions for making the poster) to be validated by a professional career reference and sent to sec-dai@cue-lnf.fr by 19 November 2019 2pm at the latest.
