« INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH » THESIS AWARD

 

Deadline for application: 24th October 2017

The « International research » thesis award provides an opportunity to single out young researchers trained in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Each year, two prizes are awarded : one « international research » thesis award Science and Technology and one « international research » thesis award Social Science and Humanities.

Nominee prerequisites - no age limit or nationality barriers

  • must have prepared their thesis after enrolling in one of the regional doctoral schools
  • were awarded their thesis between the 1st January 2015 and the 31 December 2016
  • obtained their thesis in an international framework (international collaboration and mobility)

Selection criteria of the nominee

  • The academic excellence of the young nominee and his/her thesis, particularly with respect to published output and activities with inherent added value (patents, licences,…)
  • The specific international dimension of the thesis

 

Composition of the selection committee

The selection committee includes the representatives of the doctoral college

 

Terms and conditions

  • The competition offers a €1500 prize to the winner who agrees to come and receive the award during the award ceremony
  • The DAI will cover all costs relative to the journey and the reception of the winner for the ceremony
  • The prize will be awarded during the new doctoral school year (22nd November 2017)
